It served as the headquarters of the Deccan Subah, an important mint city producing imperial coinage, and a major commercial hub. Despite the weakening of Mughal authority and the rise of Nizam-ul-Mulk Asaf Jah I, Aurangabad continued to play a vital political, strategic, and economic role throughout Muhammad Shah's reign, similar to Zeno # 141204, KM # 438.13, very fine, rare.
