Mughal, Akbar (AH 963-1014, 1556-1605 AD), Silver Rupee, 11.38 gms, 24.30 mm, Dar ul-Khilafat Malpur Mint (partially visible at bottom on obv), AH 984, Malpur is situated about 60 miles east of Ahmedabad and the mint was active early on during Akbar’s reign from AH 984 to AH 985, Obv: Jalal ud din Muhammad Akbar and date within dotted square, mint-name at bottom, Rev: Kalima within dotted square, similar to Zeno # 153064, KM # 80.14, test marks on rev overall extremely fine, very rare.
