Mughal, Rafi-ud-Darjat (AH 1131, 1719 AD), Silver Rupee, 11.40 gms, 21.66 mm, Lakhnau Mint (mostly visible at bottom on rev), "Ba hazaran Barkat" Couplet, Obv: sikka zad bahind bahazaraan barkaat, shahen shahe bahr-o-barr Rafi ud Darjat, Rev: sana ahad julus & zarb Lakhnau at the bottom, AH 1131, RY Ahd, Rafi-ud-Darjat was a Mughal emperor who ruled briefly in 1719 CE. A grandson of Bahadur Shah I, he was very young and largely a puppet of the powerful Sayyid brothers. His reign was marked by political instability, and he died the same year, possibly by poisoning. Coins from his short reign are rare, reflecting the empire’s weakened state, KM # 405.14, very fine, very rare.
