Nepal, Tribhuvana Bir Bikram (VS 1968-2007, 1911-1950 AD), Silver 1 Mohur, 5.61 gms, 26.33 mm, in the name of "Queen Lakshmi Divyeswari" - the regent for Tribhuvana Bir Bikram, VS 1971 (1914 AD), Divyeshwari Rajya Lakshmidevi Shah (1875–1933 AD) was the Queen Consort of Nepal through her marriage to King Prithvi Bir Bikram Shah in 1886 AD. She was the King's second wife and the mother of the future King Tribhuvan Bir Bikram Shah. Following the death of King Prithvi Bir Bikram Shah on 11 December 1911 AD (VS 1967), Crown Prince Tribhuvan Bir Bikram Shah ascended the throne as a minor. During his minority, Queen Divyeshwari Rajya Lakshmidevi Shah served as Regent, governing the kingdom on his behalf until he came of age. The coin offered here is a one-year issue only, struck during the regency of Queen Divyeshwari Rajya Lakshmidevi Shah, making it an important and historically significant issue within the coinage of Nepal. similar to Zeno # 261788, KM # 682, very fine, scarce.
