Ancient, Punch Marked Coinage, Whorl coin type of the Northern Upper Ganga region, (5th-4th Centuty BC), Silver Vimshatika, 4.30 gms, 26.78 mm, Obverse: Four main punches consisting of wavy designs, Reverse: Four main punches consisting of wavy designs, The reverse contains similar puches as the obverse but is more worn out. This indicates planchet re-use. It is very rare to find reused planchet coins in this series, Pieper #78, pg. 22, fine to very fine, very rare.
