Hindu Medieval, South India, Kali Fanam, (c. 17th-19th Century AD), Gold Fanam, 0.38 gms, 6.63 mm, Obverse: Highly Stylized lion, Reverse: Highly stylized Boar, Popularly identified as Kali fanam, these fanams are stylized copies of the Hoysala fanams that depicted lion and boar. These fanams circulated in south India during 17-19 century AD, about very fine, scarce.
