Paramaras of Malwa, (13th Century AD), Gadhaiya Series, Billon Unit, 4.28 gms, 14.00 mm, Obverse: Stylized Indo-Sassanian bust of king to right, Large earring at left, Reverse: An active battle scene during the day showing a mounted warrior galloping to right with right hand holding a sword in swinging position, Another warrior running towards the horseman, A third warrior lying on the ground probably wounded, Sun above, All within a dotted border, The previous lot, this lot and the following two lots seem to form a complete battle story depicting the various stages of war right from marching towards the battle field, an active day time war scene, a night scene and finally the show of victory, Deyell # Living without Silver, 167, very fine, very scarce as a set.
