Hindu Medieval, Indo Sassanian type, Anonymous issue from North-West India, (7th-8th Century AD), Billon Dramma, 3.94 gms, 20.80 mm, Obverse: Decorated bust of King to right wearing a Sassanian type crown, Late Brahmi script letters “Shri Ha” in front of the bust, Reverse: A stylized depiction of the Sassanian fire altar flanked by two attendents, Sun and Moon motifs on top, The Brahmi letters “Shri Ha” is likely to be the abbreviation of a ruler’s name, very fine, very scarce in this grade.
