Ancient World, Sasanian Dynasty, Hormizd IV (579-590 CE), Silver Drachm, 4.02 gms 33.02 mm, AY Mint (Eran-khvarrah-Shapur), RY 6 (Sibta), Obverse: Draped bust of Hormizd IV to right wearing elaborate mural crown with frontal crescent and korymbos set on crescent behind head, crescents with star at 3, 6, and 9 o clock in the outer margin, Reverse: Fire altar flanked by two attendants; in upper left field, six-pointed star, in upper right field crescent, Mint AY (Eran-khvarrah-Shapur) on the right in Pahlavi and year 6 Sibta in Pahlavi on the left, very fine, very scarce.
