Hindu Medieval, Hindu Shahi rulers of Oahind dynasty (c. 8th-10th Century AD), Copper Jital, 3.10 gms, 18.94 mm, Obverse: Horseman to right with spear in hand, Dotted border around, Reverse: Seated bull to left, Legend on its back reading in Nagari script as ‘Shri Pratapa..’, Dotted border around, This enigmatic coin with legend ‘Shri Pratapa..’ adds a new coin type and legend type to the Hindu Shahi series which were issued in Kabul and Gandhara between 8-10 cen AD, The identity of this ruler however remains uncertain at the moment, Unpublished in Major Sources, about very fine, extremely rare.
