Ancient, Indo Sassanian type, Anonymous issue from NW India, (c. 7th-8th Century AD), Billon Unit, 2.90 gms, 23.59 mm, Obverse: Bust of King to right within a dotted border, An elobarate diadem on the king’s head with Brahmi letter “Sa” on the top, Reverse: A crude depiction of the Sassanian fire altar within a dotted border( double struck), This coin type with Brahmi letter “Sa” on obverse is more difficult to come by than the other types, very fine, very scarce.
