Bengal Sultanate, Ghiyath Al-Din Bahadur Shah Suri (AH 963-968, 1555-1560 AD), Silver Rupee, 11.31 gms, 31.80 mm, NM, 965?AH Date is visible in the left margin, 9 is mostly off-flan however 6 is clearly legible however the last numeral looks like 5, however cannot be established with certainty, These rupees of Bahadur Suri have the six-pointed star (hexagram) also known as the Star of David as a mint mark in the top margin. In this specimen the lower part of the star is visible, G&G # B967, very fine, scarce.
