Khwarizmshahs (Anushteginids), Ala Al-Din Muhammad II Bin Tekish (596-617 AH / 1200-1220 CE), Silver Broad Dirham, 2.96 gms, 26.67 mm, (Baldat) Ghazna Mint, ND, Obverse: Name and complete titles of the Sultan "al-Sultan al-Azam 'Ala al-Dunya- wa al-Din Abul-Fath Muhammad bin al-Sultan" within a central circle, Reverse: Islamic profession of faith (Shahada), followed by the name and the titles of Abbasid Caliph, Al-Nasir L'Din Allah (reign 1180-1225 CE), heavier than usual, Ala al-Din Muhammad-II Khwarizmshah killed the trade emissaries of Chingiz Khan and refused to establish trade / diplomatic relations.
