Mughal, Shah Jahan (AH 1037-1068, 1628-1658 AD), Silver 1/2 Rupee, 5.46 gms, 16.89 mm, Akbarnagar Mint (mostly visible at left quadrant on obv), AH 1046, RY 9, The mace symbol appearing on Mughal silver rupees struck at Akbarnagar during the reign of Emperor Shah Jahan (1628–1658 AD) served as a distinctive mint mark or control device. Numismatists identify it as a small, stylized representation of a mace-like weapon known as a gurz, helping to distinguish particular issues or die varieties of the mint, KM # 218.2,  multiple crack overall fine, rare.
