Samid Amirs of Multan, Jalam-II (ruled till 840 CE), Silver Damma Qanhari 1/5th Dirham, 0.75 gms, 14.38 x 11.85 mm, NM, ND, Obverse: Three dot motif in the center surrounded by “Shri Ta Pa” in Sharada, with Lillah Jalam (transl. For Allah (struck / issued by) Jalam) in Kufic below, These issues of Jalam-II are the first in the Multani bilingual series in which the obverse inscription carries the local title (biruda) of the ruling Amir, In this case, the biruda is a Sanskritization of the Amir’s name, Reverse: Sharda inscription in two lines  Shri Ja / La Ma within a dotted circle, Fishman and Todd # M52-E1, choice fine to very fine, rare.
