Ancient, Guptas, Skandagupta (455-480 AD), Gold Heavy Dinar, 8.71 gms, 18.93 mm, Archer type, king nimbate, standing left, holding bow and arrow, Skanda below his left arm, Garuda standard behind, rev. goddess Sri-Lakshmi nimbate, seated facing on a lotus, holding diadem and lotus, tamgha to left, and Shanknidhi symbol at 10 o'clock, with pearls flowing out (a cluster of eight dots) in the reverse in the right arm, with legend “karmaditya’ from 2 to 5 o’clock, The cluster of eight dots near the right arm of the Goddess is a rare feature, Altekar, Plate XIV no.8, Sanjeev Kumar TGE # Pg 347 class II.
