Ancient World, Sasanian Dynasty, Hormizd IV (579-590 CE), Silver Drachm, 4.15 gms, 29.80 mm, RY 10 (Ashra), AY Mint (Eran-khvarrah-Shapur), Obverse: Draped bust of Hormizd IV to right wearing elaborate mural crown with frontal crescent and korymbos set on crescent behind head, crescents with star at 3, 6, and 9 o clock in the outer margin Reverse: Fire altar flanked by two attendants; in upper left field, six-pointed star, in upper right field crescent,  Mint AY (Eran-khvarrah-Shapur) on the right in Pahlavi and year 10 Ashra in Pahlavi on the left, very fine, very scarce.
