Mughal, Farrukhsiyar (AH 1124-1131, 1713-1719 AD), Silver Rupee, 11.38 gms, 23.05 mm, Katak Mint (fully visible at bottom on rev), “Bahr-o-bar” Couplet, Error Date, AH 1129, RY 39, KM # 377.40, The coin shows an impossible regnal year of RY 39, whereas Farrukhsiyar ruled for only eight years (AH 1124–1132 / 1713–1719 AD), making it chronologically invalid as an official Mughal issue. In addition, the overall style and calligraphy do not conform to known Katak (Cuttack) mint coins. Taken together, these factors clearly indicate that the piece is not a genuine mint product but is best regarded as a contemporary token or a later forgery. multiple test marks overall very fine, very rare.
