Ancient, Punch Marked Coinage, Magadha Mahajanapada (5th-4th Century BC), Silver Karshapana, 3.00 gms, 18.48 mm, Obverse: Punches of Sun, Six-arm, Elephant to right, Rectangular tank with fishes, Rabbit, Reverse: Multiple interesting Banker marks including a three human symbol, It is interesting to note that the reverse three human mark does not usually occur until Series VII, hence suggesting that this particular coin was in circulation for a very long time, Gupta Hardaker # Magadha Maurya Series, Series III, GH 319, pg. 150, very fine, rare because of reverse three human symbol.
