Mughal, Akbar (AH 963-1014, 1556-1605 AD), Silver Rupee, 11.44 gms, 22.25 mm, Bakkar (Bhakkar) Mint, AH 986, rev: Kalima Shahada, anchor mint mark & four Caliphs' name in the margin, obv: "Jalal-ud-din Muhammad Akbar Badshah ghazi, 986" bottom quadrant reads "zarb Bakkar" visible at the bottom margin, Unlisted in KM, extra fine, extremely rare.
Ref: specimen Zeno#129408 for mint reading reference only, this specimen was the best specimen from a lot surfaced 15 years back, this was the only specimen in the lot to have the mint portion readable, all reported specimen in various auctions have been wrongly identified as bang mint, however this important specimen proves that such type coins are bhakkar mint not bang, couple of gold coins are also known with similar die.
