Date in words AH 96(7), star symbol above word ‘Nuhsaad’, At the end of sixteenth century, The twelve subahs created as a result of the administrative reform by Akbar. The Subah of Awadh (Capital Faizabad, later Lucknow) contained five sarkars, viz., Awadh, Lucknow, Bahraich, Khairabad and Gorakhpur, and these, again were divided in numerous mahals and dasturs. This coin is Strucked with the mint name ‘Sarkar Lucknow’, Depicting the same name Sarkar Lakhnau which is among the five Sarkar under the Suba of Awadh. Very few specimens with this mint name have been reported yet. No coin have been offered in any auction so far. Extremely Rare. Missing in soo many collections. Unlisted in KM, Unlisted in Zeno, very fine+, extremely rare.
