Rama Rau, Bombay Circle, Serial No. A1 153527, ND (1954), a picture of Brihadeeswara temple at Tanjore on the reverse, The Brihadeeswara Temple at Thanjavur, built by the Chola emperor Rajaraja I around 1010 CE, is one of India's finest architectural and cultural landmarks.
