Set of 2 objects, 1). 2.72 gms, 14.22x49.55, 2). 8.34 gms, 25.32x37.14, This lot consists of two ancient bronze/copper objects, likely weights or tokens from c. 2nd–10th century CE, spanning the late Kushan to early medieval Indian period. The first is a 2.72 g shield-shaped piece with a suspension hole and clustered punch marks, likely used for administrative or trade validation. The second is an 8.34 g matched pair of elongated teardrop-shaped pieces featuring punched impressions and raised bosses, suggesting standardized manufacturing and possible repeated use in early transactional systems. Both exhibit strong age patina and oxidation consistent with long burial. Together, they represent early Indian metrological and trade practices within regional economic networks, very fine, scarce.
