Hindu Medieval, Indo Sasanian type, Anonymous issue from NW India, (7th-8th Century AD), Silver Unit, 3.81 gms, 24.79 mm, Obv: Decorated bust of King to right wearing a Sassanian type crown, Late Brahmi script letter ‘ Shri ’ enclosed in a circle on top of crown, Trident on the right field, dotted border around, Rev: A stylized depiction of Sassanian fire altar flanked by two attendents, Sun and Moon motifs on top, dotted border around, very fine for the type, very rare in this grade.
