Ancient, Kushans, Kanishka I (c. 128-150 AD), Bronze Drachm, 4.82 gms, 17.85 mm, Obverse: King standing, offering to a fire altar at his right, holding a staff with his other hand, Bactrian Greek script ‘Shao Kanishko’ (Kanishka, the king) around, Reverse: Solar deity ‘Mithra’ standing, rays emerging from head, one hand on sword hilt, other hand extended in blessing, Tamgha at left, Greek legend ‘MIYPO’ at right, Gobl # 797, about very fine, rare in this grade.
