Hindu Medieval, Hindu Shahi rulers of Oahind dynasty, Shri Spalapati Deva (750-900 AD), Copper Jital, 3.10 gms, 18.94 mm, Obverse: Horseman to right with spear in hand, Dotted border around, Reverse: Seated bull to left, Legend on its back reading in Nagari script as ‘Shri Spalapati..’, Dotted border around, The legend ‘Shri Spalapati’ appears to be executed differently on this coin as compared with the silver jital series, Tye # 8, similar to Zeno # 258883, about very fine, rare.
Note: Copper Jitals are far much rarer than the silver Jitals of Spalapati Deva.
