Independent Kingdoms, Sikh Empire, Diwan Moti Ram as Governor (2nd Governor ship) (VS 1878-1882, 1821-1825 AD), Silver Rupee, 10.97 gms, 21.63 mm, Khitta Kashmir Mint, 'Gobind Shahi' Couplet, VS (188X), obv. flag in place of sprig, Diwan Moti Ram was reappointed Governor of Kashmir by Maharaja Ranjit Singh in 1821 AD after the tenure of Sardar Hari Singh Nalwa, serving until 1825 AD. During his administration, the Kashmir Mint continued issuing silver rupees and copper coins in the name of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, bearing the traditional Gobindshahi couplet, reflecting the continuity of Sikh imperial coinage under the Lahore Darbar, Herrli # 06.15.04, Saran & Dalwinder Singh, Page No. 253, KS # 215, very fine, rare.
